The series LIMAX is using the well-established magnetic tape technology to measure the position of the cabin in the shaft with high precision. This technology has proven itself to be robust and reliable over the years in more than 30 000 elevators worlwide.

Integrated Safety

The Series LIMAX has been developed  into a modular solution.  The series responds to every particular safety requirement and to the existing controlling concepts. In the final stage  with
LIMAX33 SAFE, the system performs safety-relevant functions and consequently replaces several switches and monitoring systems of the classical elevator.
