ELGO Electronic can continue to grow

Groundbreaking for the extension building completed

With the groundbreaking ceremony for a new building, which will provide around 2,400 square meters of additional space for the urgently needed expansion of production, development and administration until next spring, ELGO Electronic has recently taken a major step towards the future. The specialist for electronic measurement and control systems at Rielasingen-Worblingen, Germany, is investing three million euros.
The growth thrust is triggered, among other reasons, by new partnerships in elevator construction, which will be added to the existing major customers such as Schindler or ThyssenKrupp Elevator. With its systems based on the magnetic tape technology for the position determination of elevator cabins, ELGO Electronic has developed a market-leading position in recent years. ELGO employs 180 people worldwide. The company was founded by Helmut Grimm in 1977, today he is supported by his sons in management.
