III. INFORMATION ON DATA PROCESSING

Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies, the deletion of the data does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations and no other information is provided below on individual processing procedures.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website - for this purpose, the server log files must be collected. At this point, it is also not possible to restrict processing for technical reasons for the future.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you have provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent, unless the enquiry directly indicates a desired forwarding, or it is necessary to answer the enquiry as part of a pre-contractual measure.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent, by implied conduct or by explicit confirmation (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your enquiry). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

Request by e-mail, telephone or fax

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your enquiry including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent, by implied conduct or by explicit confirmation (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

YouTube

We maintain an online presence on YouTube to present our company and our services and to communicate with customers/interested parties. YouTube is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA.

In this respect, we would like to point out that there is a possibility that user data may be processed outside the European Union, in particular in the USA. This may result in increased risks for users in that, for example, it may be more difficult to access the user data at a later date. We also do not have access to this user data. The access option lies exclusively with YouTube.

You can find YouTube's privacy policy at

Linking social media via graphic or text link

We also promote presences on the social networks listed below on our website. The integration takes place via a linked graphic of the respective network. The use of this linked graphic prevents a connection from being automatically established to the respective server of the social network when a website with a social media advertisement is called up in order to display a graphic of the respective network itself. Only by clicking on the corresponding graphic is the user redirected to the service of the respective social network.

After the user has been forwarded, information about the user is collected by the respective network. It cannot be ruled out that the data collected in this way will be processed in the USA.

This is initially data such as IP address, date, time and page visited. If the user is logged into his or her user account of the respective network during this time, the network operator may be able to assign the collected information of the user's specific visit to the user's personal account. If the user interacts via a "Share" button of the respective network, this information may be stored in the user's personal user account and possibly published. If the user wants to prevent the collected information from being directly assigned to his/her user account, he/she must log out before clicking on the graphic. In addition, it is possible to configure the respective user account accordingly.

Web analysis etracker

The provider of this website uses services of etracker GmbH from Hamburg, Germany https://www.etracker.com to analyse usage data. We do not use cookies for web analysis by default. Insofar as we use analysis and optimisation cookies, we obtain your explicit consent separately in advance. If this is the case and you consent, cookies will be used to enable a statistical coverage analysis of this website, a measurement of the success of our online marketing measures as well as test procedures, e.g. to test and optimise different versions of our online offer or its components. Cookies are small datasets that are stored by the Internet browser on the user's terminal device. etracker cookies do not contain any information that enables a user to be identified.

The data generated by etracker is processed and stored by etracker on behalf of the provider of this website exclusively in Germany and is therefore subject to the strict German and European data protection laws and standards. etracker has been independently audited in this respect, certified and awarded the https://www.eprivacy.eu/en/customers/awarded-seals/company/etracker-gmbh/ data protection seal of approval.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f (legitimate interest) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our concern in terms of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the optimisation of our online offer and our web presence. Since the privacy of our visitors is important to us, data that may allow a reference to an individual person, such as the IP address, login or device identifiers, are anonymised or pseudonymised as soon as possible. No other use is made of the data, nor is it merged with other data or passed on to third parties.

You can object to the aforementioned data processing at any time. The objection has no adverse consequences.

Further information on data protection at etracker can be found  https://www.etracker.com/en/data-privacy/

OpenStreetMap

For directions we use OpenStreetMap, a service of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB 4 0 WS, United Kingdom, hereinafter referred to only as "OpenStreetMap".

When you call up one of our Internet pages in which the OpenStreetMap service is integrated, OpenStreetMap stores a cookie on your end device via your Internet browser. This processes your user settings and user data for the purpose of displaying the page or ensuring the functionality of the OpenStreetMap service. This processing enables OpenStreetMap to recognise the website from which your request was sent and to which IP address the display of the route should be transmitted.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. You consent to the processing by giving your consent to the cookies.

If you do not agree to this processing, you have the option of preventing the installation of cookies by making the appropriate settings in your internet browser. Details on this can be found above under the item "Cookies".

OpenStreetMap describes in further detail on the following site how personal data is collected and used:

https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy

Your rights and options to protect your privacy are listed there as well.

YouTube with enhanced data protection

We use YouTube on our website. This is a video portal of YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, hereinafter referred to as "YouTube".

YouTube is a subsidiary of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google".

We use YouTube in connection with the "extended data protection mode" function in order to be able to show you videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website. According to YouTube, the "enhanced data protection mode" function means that the data described in more detail below is only transmitted to the YouTube server when you actually start a video.

If you do not want the data to be transmitted, please do not start the videos on our website. Otherwise, we assume your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR due to the setting.

Without this "enhanced data protection", a connection to the YouTube server in the USA is established as soon as you call up one of our Internet pages on which a YouTube video is embedded.

This connection is necessary in order to be able to display the respective video on our website via your internet browser. During the connection, YouTube will at least record and process your IP address, the date and time and the website you visited. In addition, a connection to Google's "DoubleClick" advertising network is established.

If you are logged into YouTube at the same time, YouTube will assign the connection information to your YouTube account. If you wish to prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our website or make the appropriate settings in your YouTube user account.

For the purpose of functionality and to analyse user behaviour, YouTube permanently stores cookies on your end device via your internet browser. If you do not agree to this processing, you have the option of preventing the storage of cookies by making a setting in your internet browser. You can find more information on this above under "Cookies".

Google provides further information on the collection and use of data as well as your rights and protection options in this regard in the privacy policy available at
